Summer seems a world away, but summer camp registration is here and now. Plan your student’s balmy months with one or several fun camps scheduled during UNC Charlotte’s Camps on Campus.

Enrollment for the popular program opened January 23, with a selection of over one hundred summer camps for all interests and school ages.

Sing and dance in Musical Theater. Season and sauté in Culinary Arts. Calibrate and code in Robotics 302.

All camps are one week long and held from 9 am – 4 pm, with drop-off and pick-up times between 7:30 – 8:45am and 4 – 5:30 pm. Camps cost $275/week, with the exception of coding camps, which are $395 to include materials. Meal plans are available for $61/week. Campers may bring their own lunch, too.

Learn ways to ensure a smooth and successful camp experience for your child by attending Parent Orientation, Thursday, May 15, 7-9 pm. During this Zoom session, you’ll connect with Camps on Campus staff, learn policies and procedures and have opportunities to ask questions. Register here.

Now in its 22nd year, Camps on Campus has become a popular source of entertainment and learning for area youth (grades 1-12) during the summer months. Camps are led by experienced instructors with curriculums designed to blend education with hands-on, interactive experiences that rev up imaginations and hold interests.

But it’s more than just about the experience gained through individual camps. Campers benefit in plenty of other ways, too. They get to practice social skills and the art of collaboration with their peers. They make friends. They meet trained camp counselors, who serve as mentors and role models. They experience college life on the UNC Charlotte main campus, enjoying lunch with other campers in Social 704, the dining hall in the student union.
