Enhanced Safety Precautions

At Camps on Campus, your child’s safety is our number one priority. This is why we’ve implemented several enhanced safety precautions to ensure their well-being.

Increased Sanitation: We have boosted our cleaning schedule, focusing on classrooms, shared supplies, and frequently touched surfaces to keep germs at bay.

Preventing Communicable Illnesses: We kindly ask that you keep your child home if they show any signs of illness, such as fever, pink eye, vomiting, diarrhea, or head lice.

Sick Camper Pick-Up Procedure: If we suspect a camper has a communicable illness, we will notify you immediately and request you pick them up within 30 minutes, as per North Carolina childcare regulations. Campers may return with a doctor’s note confirming their health.

No Refunds for Illness: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer full or partial refunds for absences due to illness, including a positive COVID test during camp week.

Niner Nation Cares

For further information on campus health protocols and safety guidelines, please visit the Niner Nation Cares website. The UNC Charlotte Office of Emergency Management regularly updates this website to provide a valuable resource for parents, students, faculty, and staff.

Please note that currently UNC Charlotte does not require campers to wear face masks on campus; however, any camper who prefers to wear one to protect themselves and/or others from the spread of germs should feel free to do so.

By working together and staying informed about our enhanced safety precautions, we can make sure that everyone has a healthy and enjoyable time at camp!
