Alecxia Torres

Associate Director

Hello everyone, I’m Alecxia Torres, and I’m so excited to continue my journey with the Niner family as the Assistant Director for the Camps on Campus program. As a proud UNC Charlotte alum and Charlotte native, it means so much to be back on campus helping create a fun, and memorable summer for our campers and families.

I graduated from UNC Charlotte with my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. I’m currently a K–5th Physical Education teacher for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, and I also coach youth soccer with Greater Goals. Working with kids in and outside of the classroom has strengthened my passion for youth development, staying active, and building positive relationships.

Outside of work, I love going to the gym, trying new restaurants around Charlotte, and spending time with friends and family. I’m always up for trying something new whether it’s boxing, Pilates, or a dance class. I can’t wait to meet all of you and make this a meaningful summer!
