Veronica Spikes
Hello everyone!! I’m Veronica Spikes(she/her/hers) and I am so excited about returning to the Niner family for my 3rd year as an Associate Director of the Camps on Campus Program. As a proud UNC Charlotte alum, I can not wait to step back on campus to help create a memorable summer and experience for our campers.
I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with my Bachelors and returned for my Graduate Teaching Certificate. In my current position I’m an 8th grade Social Studies/Science teacher for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. I am the mother of one, who will be leaving for college this summer, and a 9 year old fur baby. My previous experience working with youth consists of coaching, tutoring and participating in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I enjoy spending time with my family and a good movie night. I am also a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
I am a firm believer in communication and building relationships, so I can not wait to meet our families and campers this summer!!! Go Niners!!!
